DiolazeXL is a leading laser in hair removal, with one of the largest treatment area sizes and enough power to treat even the most stubborn hair. While it is powerful, the Diolaze laser is a gentle, ultra-fast treatment that safely eliminates unwanted hair more quickly and conveniently, achieving very long lasting results which are permanent in many cases.

The DiolazeXL laser concentrates energy beams on the hair follicles during their growth stage. The pigment in the hair follicles absorbs the energy of the laser, which disables or destroys the hair follicle. Disabled or damaged hair follicles can no longer grow strong hair. What hair they do grow is weak. Destroyed hair follicles do not grow hair again–this is permanent hair removal.

The treatment consists of 6 treatments every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the hair growth cycle.

Day of Treatment: area to be treated should be clean and  freshly shaved, we recommend a new blade prior to each treatment as the laser will not work on any hair that is not flush with the skin. 

The area to be treated must not have any recent sun exposure. If the area has recent sun exposure we will need to reschedule.  

Many of our clients like to wear a tank top dress on the day of treatment to make appointments quicker and simpler. 

In the following 1-2 weeks after your treatment, the portion of the hair shaft that is below the skin is pushed out. You will notice hairs shedding or falling away during this time. 

You can get back to work or your usual activities immediately after your treatments. While there is no downtime after your Diolaze treatments, these aftercare tips can help during your recovery period.

• Use aloe vera or moisturizer on the treated area for 1-2 days
• Avoid focused heat for the day after your treatment
• Avoid sun exposure to the treated area for two weeks
• Avoid strenuous physical activity for a day after your treatment
• Do not use chemicals on the treated area for two weeks
